Hi Dr Roark. I’m in NZ and despite everything, we have the annual fight against “Fly Blown” lambs and Ewes. Is there something we can put on the sheep to prevent the fly strike (because we don’t like the toxic nature of “sheep Dipping”), and what would you suggest is the best solution to help their skin heal once they’ve been shorn? Thank you
I have a question regarding my niece Shazam. She has a spot/growth on her leg that her vet has not done anything with. Was going to express it but Shazam was not a fan so they stopped and my sister was told to keep an eye on it. I have included a photo collage so I can get more than one image in. Shazam doesn’t seem to be very bothered by it. It is hard with no discharge and started as just a red spot. Thoughts? She is an itchy scratchy girl and unfortunately is on cytopoint injections and just got a new round of shots so she can go to daycare.
One more question! Since we no longer have zendocrine complex I know you have recommended Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle when needed for clients. I have scoured the group for an hour, but cannot find dosing information. The range on the website is not very helpful.
I have a possible new client (met for Discovery call yesterday) with a dog who has a massive yeast issue. (Bulldog) Has been on alllll the things from the DVM with zero improvement over 2 years. (We already discussed food changes, supplements and liver support.) But unsure how to dose this liver milk thistle supplement appropriately. (Eventually could add in RevitaZen capsules but they aren’t available.)

Hi! Sorry I have to miss (son’s last golf tournament) but I have a few questions! I’m new here, so I am sorry if you all have covered this information in the past! 1) TOUCH rollers – if I recommend these to clients, do they need to use on hand and add more FCO, or safe to use as is specifically for dogs and cats? 2) Internal usage – I know it is safe to use 1-2 drops of each oil we are recommending (for a dog client) but can we safely use 3 oils, 1 drop each on food? What would be the max amount of oils to use PO with food? (BID) 3) Referencing question #2 – for owner compliance, can I have her blend 3 different oils that I would want to choose (equal drops each) in a 5 ml bottle with a dropper top and give 3 drops of this blend in a capsule? Does this make it less efficacious by using this way? (Lavender, Frank and Lemongrass blended)

Another question, a co-worker has a schipperke that has just been diagnosed with heartworm. She started him on the doxy and pred protocol. He started vomiting his meds up and eyes were icteric. Brought him in for blood work and liver enzymes were very elevated. Stopped all meds. I recommended getting him started on milk thistle and copaiba for his liver. Revitizen topically, diluted along his spine. Would recommend orally but didn’t want to upset his digestive system. I am not sure what to recommend for the heartworm treatment. Any suggestions? Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Hello. We have a coming 6 year old QH gelding that was just diagnosed with OCD cysts of both stifles. They were injected with Noltrex and triamcinalone. The left the vet recommended surgery to stabilize the joint. The right she felt the injection might be enough. She said it probably has a genetic component to the cause of the cysts. My question is, can I use red light therapy for the stifles on him after having the injections? I have the multilight and the lumivet 3000. I did try the body balance protocol on him a couple of months ago but didn’t know at that time exactly why he was so lame. We have had him since he was 6 months old. I just want to at least help him feel better, if not actually be able to ride him again.

Hello all! I have a dog (intact lab mix about 3 years old) who has been very itchy for over 6 months with no change in food, apparently with my protocol that itchy sensation has gone down. I wanted your thoughts on what this looks like and your thoughts on the protocol I made.
